Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage targets specific sources of pain or dysfunction. 

Treatment may include:

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage targets improved overall relaxation of both body and mind. 

Treatment may include:

  • Soft tissue work
    • Myofascial release
    • Swedish massage
    • Trigger point
    • Reflexology
    • Cranial sacral therapy
    • Thai massage/Thai foot massage

Assessment of the neck and jaw through range of motion, strength, posture. Assessment includes intraoral exam of muscles of the mouth and jaw. 

Treatment may include:

  • Postural assessment/education
  • Education on diet
  • Intraoral Behavioral Modification
  • Exercise
  • Therapeutic massage

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction includes treatment of:

  • Urinary/Fecal Incontinence
  • Pelvic pain (back, hip, coccyx, pubic symphysis)
  • Pain with intercourse
  • Constipation
  • Abdominal Pain
Treatment may include: 
  • Therapeutic massage
  • Exercise
  • Postural assessment/ education
  • Education on diet/fluid intake
  • Bladder retraining

Pregnancy and Postpartum

Pregnancy and postpartum care may include: 

  • How to exercise and return to exercise safely
  • Scar tissue and pain management following vaginal or caesarean delivery
